Welcome back to the 5 Reasons to Attend Data Natives Series. We started with Building a Strong Professional Network, went on to mention the Conference Schedule, and now, the next reason to attend Data Natives 2016 is (drumroll, please): Recruiting and being recruited.

The boom of Data Science as a discipline has also made it boom as an industry. Seemingly every company out there is trying to fuel its decision-making process with the effective use of data, which, in turn, creates a need for highly-skilled, well-trained data science professionals. Companies are looking everywhere for people with the right backgrounds, who could either fit in directly, or who need some training and direction. We have made an effort to make Data Natives 2016 a meeting point for employers and prospective employees.

Recruiting (and being recruited)

There are three main ways you can make use of the Data Natives platform if you are looking to recruit, or to get employment.

  1. Networking Sessions
First, of course, are the networking sessions. Each day, there will be 4 dedicated networking sessions (not including lunches, the Data Natives After Party, and other post-conference activities). In these, you will be able to get in direct contact with attendees from a wide array of companies, such as Deutsche Bahn, foodora, PwC, Delivery Hero, ING-DiBa, Helpling, Bank of Scotland, Catawiki, moovel, Bank of Scotland, Clue by Biowink, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Trifacta, King.com, among many others. We have guests active in almost all professional fields, including HR, Data Science, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Finance, Software Development, Consultancy, among many others, representing all professional levels, from entry-level to C-suite.

  2. Student Conference Ticket
The second career development opportunity we offer at Data Natives, is the Student conference ticket. Valid for undergraduate (BSc./BA.), graduate (MSc./MA.), and post-graduate (PhD.) students, this ticket enables you to immerse yourself in the newest applications of technology, to get to know companies looking for talent, and to connect with institutions doing cutting-edge research.

  3. Job Seeker Ticket [Apply here]
The third way of making the most out of your search for employment opportunities at Data Natives, is the Job Seeker Ticket. This new ticket option allows those looking to develop their careers within Data Science, to apply for a ticket at a discounted price. We’ll share your details directly with companies looking for applicants with your profile, and applying for a ticket is as easy as filling in your details in this typeform, and crossing your fingers!

Don’t forget that ticket prices go up this Friday, October 14! Go to datanatives.io and register for a ticket, or get instant access to speaker and schedule information on Data Natives Berlin 2016
