Elena Poughia – Managing Director
Elena is the Managing Director of Dataconomy Media GmbH and the Founder & Head Curator of Data Natives, Europe’s largest data science conference. She has a multidisciplinary background with studies in Economics and Modern and Contemporary Art from British Universities. She has worked for established galleries and pioneering institutions and co-founded an Art Events Company (2012) and an Independent Art Publication (2014) before moving to work for Dataconomy. She is particularly committed to supporting women by helping them become established in tech professions.
Diksha Dutta – Consulting Editor, Dataconomy Media
Diksha Dutta is an author, an independent business journalist and a digital media expert. Based in Berlin, she is intrigued by the startup scene in Europe after writing extensively on the Indian ecosystem. After a six-year stint as a full-time business journalist, since 2015, she has been writing independently on startups for international media publications. She is working on a book on the startup ecosystem with Bloomsbury Publishing which brings together fascinating stories of over 50 entrepreneurs across the globe. She has a passion for storytelling and following tech innovations in the startup ecosystem. She is the go-to-person of all author submissions for Dataconomy. Hara Kanatsoulis – Events Marketing Manager
Hara is an Events Marketing Manager at Dataconomy Media, overseeing all marketing operations of the company and developing its marketing strategy and vision. In the last five years, she has worked in Greece and Belgium across different industries. She is passionate about all things digital, with a particular soft spot for social media advertising. She holds two Master’s degrees in European Studies and International Marketing.
Eileen McNulty Holmes – Head of Content, Data Natives Conference
Eileen McNulty-Holmes is the Head of Content for Data Natives, Europe’s largest data science conference. For the past ten years, they have written, edited and strategised for companies and publications spanning tech, arts and culture. With a core focus in journalism and content, Eileen has also spoken at conferences, organised literary and art events, mentored others in journalism, and had their fiction and essays published in a range of publications. They are passionate about amplifying marginalised voices in their field (particularly those from the LGBTQ community), AI, and dressing like it’s still the ’80s.
Maren Lesche- Head of Partnerships and Ecosystem Development
Maren is a communicator and connector by heart that loves to find stories, to tell stories and to listen to stories. After studying communications and marketing at the Technical University Ilmenau, the US and Australia, she supported several tech and innovation companies such as Microsoft, Finleap and etventure. She is a moderator, speaker, mentor and match-maker.
Paula Grohmann – Events Manager
Paula is the Events Manager at Dataconomy Media, overseeing all events of the company. Paula is passionate about leading people and bringing the best out of others. Berlin has brought out many adventures for Paula. In the last five years, she has worked multi-facetted, mainly in managing teams in the Fitness industry and NGO world. Paula gets a kick out of events that create a sense of home for a very diverse group of people.
Kathleen – Digital Marketing
Kathleen is a creative thinker who is passionate about Design Thinking. She uses human-centred design technology and empathy to solve problems that affect products and services. She is also a Digital Marketing Professional who drives company growth through creative and innovative marketing strategies. She is passionate about building strong brands and implementing and managing social/new media campaigns.
