Huawei is likely to hold a product launch event in early August featuring new phones, wearables, a lightweight PC and gaming earbuds, according to Weibo tipster @FixedFocus.
The timeline points to next week though the company has not officially confirmed the event or the products expected to appear.
@FixedFocus said the expected lineup includes the Nova 16 SE smartphone, the Watch GT 7 series, an ultra-light PC and gaming earbuds.
Huawei has recently obtained certifications for new tablets, PCs and smartwatches, and said several devices have appeared in the NearLink and 3C databases.
The Nova 16 SE is expected to join Huawei’s Nova 16 series as a lower-cost model, Huawei Central reported. The publication said the device is expected to feature notable changes from other recently launched Nova 16 models.
The Watch GT 7 series is expected to add upgraded health and fitness features, improved AI functions, and changes to design and internal specifications.
Huawei is also reportedly developing a 700-gram MateBook. The publication said the device appears to have shown up in China’s 3C certification database.
The company is also preparing a gaming headset, though it was unclear whether that would be a new product or another version of an existing model.
