Samsung has confirmed the release of the fourth One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy S26 series will occur next week. The announcement was made by a community manager on Samsung’s forums, following a major bug-fixing third beta build that was deployed last month.
The upcoming update, based on Android 17, will be distributed over the air via the Samsung Members app across eligible regions. The beta operations team is focused on delivering a stable version of the software without significant bugs.
Details regarding a specific release date or a comprehensive changelog were not provided. However, the fourth beta is expected to enhance system performance and improve user interface aesthetics. Samsung typically rolls out such updates incrementally, beginning with testers in South Korea before expanding to other countries.
Participating regions for this update will include India, Germany, Poland, the UK, and the US. Users of the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra enrolled in the beta program are advised to monitor the Samsung Members app for the update next week.
