Conflicting rumors have emerged regarding the main camera for Samsung’s future Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the prolific leaker Ice Universe, the device will retain the same 200MP Isocell HP2 sensor used in the Galaxy S23 and S24 Ultra models.
This claim directly contradicts a previous rumor from another source which suggested the S26 Ultra would feature a new, larger 200MP sensor made by Sony.

A major benefit of increased light intake is the ability to use faster shutter speeds, a change that could finally help Samsung address the persistent shutter lag issues that have affected its previous flagship phones.
