The subject of a separate announcement today, the company also announced its vision for modernizing the backbone of the cloud economy with a utility model for data insights.
“I am incredibly excited to have Ramin leading Sumo Logic. Sumo is in a massive market—and already significantly ahead of any other cloud provider for machine data analytics. Ramin’s domain experience will immediately scale Sumo’s product insight, strategy and partner ecosystem,” said Joseph Ansanelli, partner at Greylock Partners.
“Perhaps most importantly, Ramin is a natural fit with the founding team. He is a company builder to the core and shares the spirit and dedication of a founder. We are increasingly confident of Sumo’s rise as the dominant player in this space,” he further added.
