Elden Ring will launch for the Switch 2 on August 28 as Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which includes the main game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The Tarnished Edition features new classes, weapons, armor, and customization options for horses.
These new features will also be available for purchase on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. Pricing details for these additions on other platforms have not yet been revealed.
The total cost of the Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 is currently unknown. However, an Amazon listing suggests a price of $80, which aligns with a current combo pack of the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on other platforms.
In addition to Elden Ring, FromSoftware is developing a Switch 2 exclusive titled The Duskbloods, which is intended to be a spiritual successor to Bloodborne.
