Amazon’s Adaptive Display feature for Fire TVs is rolling out today, specifically for the Fire TV Stick HD model. This accessibility feature was first announced during an April preview event.
The Adaptive Display setting adjusts the size of both text and user interface elements on the screen to enhance readability, maintaining proportional scaling for images and key art. Multiple sizing options are incorporated to optimize the viewing experience.
Adaptive Display is one of the significant enhancements introduced with the latest Fire TV model, which also includes a more streamlined design and additional integrations with Alexa+. The full overhaul of the Fire TV user interface was showcased by Amazon during CES 2023, followed by an initial rollout in February.
This new feature aims to help viewers better utilize the updated Fire TV experience.
