Spotify is celebrating its 20th anniversary by launching a limited-time feature called “Spotify 20” or “Party of the year(s).” The feature reveals users’ joining date, first song streamed, favorite artist, and a playlist of their most-streamed songs.
Users can access the feature by searching for “Spotify 20” or “Party of the year(s)” in the app or by visiting a specific link. It creates a personalized playlist of the user’s top 120 songs, showing how many times each song was played and the total number of unique songs listened to.
Spotify stated that the feature enables users to share stat cards and playlists with friends and on social media. This feature is available worldwide but will last only for six weeks.
Last month, Spotify released lists of the most-streamed artists, albums, songs, and podcasts, with Taylor Swift being the most-streamed artist. According to Spotify, the Wrapped feature is a significant driver of engagement on the platform. Wrapped 2025 achieved over 200 million engaged users within the first 24 hours, marking a 19% increase in engagement compared to 2024’s AI-driven initiative, which was less well-received.
Spotify reported that users shared their Wrapped recaps 500 million times last year. The “Spotify 20” feature builds on this engagement by allowing users to reminisce about their listening journey throughout the years.
