Anthropic has launched a set of connectors for its AI chatbot Claude, enabling integration with popular creative software, including Adobe’s Creative Cloud, Blender, and Ableton.
This initiative marks Anthropic’s latest effort to penetrate the creative industry, complementing its recent launch of Claude Design. The connectors allow Claude to access applications, retrieve data, and perform tasks within the integrated services.
The Adobe connector facilitates interaction with Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop, Premiere, and Express, helping users enhance their creative projects. The Ableton connector enables Claude to source information from Ableton’s official documentation, while the Blender integration allows access to Blender’s Python API through natural language commands.
Anthropic stated, “Claude can’t replace taste or imagination, but it can open up new ways of working — faster and more ambitious ideation.” The company emphasized that its AI aims to support the creative process by handling repetitive tasks and reducing overall time spent on projects.
As part of its commitment to the Blender community, Anthropic is providing financial support to the Blender Foundation to ensure the software remains free and open-source. Anthropic has become a Corporate Patron of the Blender Development Fund, joining sponsors such as Netflix, Epic, and Wacom.
