His new show originates from his personal garage, presenting candid behind-the-scenes conversations with friends. Episodes release every Friday, offering viewers unfiltered discussions in an intimate setting.
Michael Irvin, a prominent figure in Netflix’s recent documentary series “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys,” anchors the other production. That series examined key elements of football history, with Irvin receiving substantial coverage. “The White House” delivers detailed sports news, analysis, and commentary, airing twice weekly. Irvin shares hosting duties with guest co-hosts, including former NFL All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Marshall, who brings additional expertise to the discussions.
These originals integrate into Netflix’s expanding collection of video podcasts. The platform already features licensed content from partners such as iHeartMedia, Spotify, and Barstool Sports. Specific titles include “Dear Chelsea,” “My Favorite Murder,” and “The Ringer.” Under the licensing terms, these shows remain unavailable in their complete form on YouTube, directing audiences to Netflix for full access.
The announcement aligns with Netflix’s efforts to compete against YouTube’s leading position in video podcasts. Projections indicate viewers will consume over 700 million hours of podcasts monthly on living-room devices in 2025. This growth underscores the scale of the market Netflix targets.
