At CES 2026, Tone Outdoors, a spinoff of the aerospace company Whisper Aero, unveiled the T1, a high-tech leaf blower designed to solve the persistent issue of neighborhood noise pollution. Utilizing engineering principles originally developed for electric aircraft motors, the T1 is capable of operating at an average of just 52 decibels at peak volume—making it approximately 80% quieter than leading gas-powered models while being 60% more powerful.
Despite its quiet operation, the device pushes 880 CFM of airflow, surpassing many popular battery-powered competitors. The T1 offers up to 50 minutes of runtime in Eco mode and features a built-in LED nightlight for evening work. The unit is available for preorder now at $599 with shipments scheduled for September, while a limited “Silence Is Golden” edition is priced at $699. Tone also announced plans for a battery backpack extender to be released in Q1 2027 and hinted at future products via a partnership with Stanley Black and Decker.
