Perplexity has introduced its new Email Assistant, an AI-powered tool available for subscribers to its Max plan. The feature allows users to direct a chatbot to manage tasks within their Gmail and Outlook accounts.
The assistant is designed to handle basic email functions such as scheduling meetings, organizing and prioritizing messages, and drafting replies.
According to Perplexity, the AI does not train on the content of user emails but is designed to learn and adopt an individual’s writing style when composing replies.
How to use Perplexity Max Email Assistant
Access to the Email Assistant is exclusive to members of the company’s Max plan, a premium subscription tier that costs $200 per month.
- You must be subscribed to the Perplexity Max plan.
- Sign up to enable the Email Assistant feature for your account.
- Once activated, you can begin using the assistant by sending instructions and tasks to a designated assistant email address.
Perplexity has not announced plans to make the feature available for other subscription levels.
