The earlier design covering the weather icons prompted mixed reactions among users. While some valued the minimalist look, others criticized it for reducing functionality, claiming the icons blended into the background, obscuring quick interpretation of weather conditions.
The new design allows weather information to contrast more effectively with the day and date, facilitating quicker understanding at a glance. In addition to the weather icon modifications, Android 16 QPR1 Beta 3 also brings multiple enhancements and bug fixes for Pixel devices.
