Apple is preparing to introduce over 15 new products this fall, including significant updates across its iPhone, Mac, iPad, and wearable lines, according to Ryan Christoffel. These releases follow major software updates, such as iOS 26, and are slated to launch before the end of the year.

The iPhone 17 family is expected to feature substantial changes. The traditional Plus model will be replaced by a new iPhone Air. There is also potential for the Pro Max variant to be rebranded as the first iPhone Ultra. The standard iPhone 17 will reportedly include a larger display and an improved selfie camera. The iPhone 17 Air is characterized as radically thin with a futuristic appearance, potentially involving some design compromises. The iPhone 17 Pro will incorporate an upgraded camera system, increased memory, and the A19 Pro chip. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is designed to be thicker, providing enhanced battery life.

New M5-powered Macs and iPads are also anticipated, marking the debut of Apple’s M5 chip in certain products. The M5 MacBook Pro will retain its existing design but will be configurable with M5, M5 Pro, and M5 Max chips. The M5 iPad Pro will feature the M5 chip and be optimized for iPadOS 26’s multitasking capabilities. A new Mac Pro is expected to utilize an M3 Ultra chip, similar to the current Mac Studio, with a slim possibility of a redesigned chassis.

8 upgrades that make you want to wait for iPhone 17

Apple’s wearable division is set to receive significant upgrades. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is expected to include 5G RedCap connectivity, hypertension sensors, and expanded satellite features. The Apple Watch Series 11 will maintain its current design while incorporating high blood pressure detection. The Apple Watch SE 3 will feature an updated S-class chip, providing a more modern offering than its predecessor. AirPods Pro 3 are projected to offer upgraded noise cancellation and a new H3 processor, though their release might extend into 2026.

Apple continues its focus on smart home products, despite previous delays related to Siri upgrades. At least two, and possibly three, new Home products are expected this year. A new Apple TV 4K is likely to be Apple Intelligence capable and will include an upgraded A-class chip. The HomePod mini 2 will feature a new Wi-Fi modem and enhanced compatibility with other Home products. A new “HomePad,” envisioned as a smart home command center running homeOS, has a release timing yet to be determined.

Additional product revisions include the AirTag 2, which will incorporate a new Ultra Wideband chip for improved range and stronger privacy features. The M5 Vision Pro is anticipated to receive a specification bump with the new M5 chip and minimal other changes. The Studio Display 2 will retain its 27-inch size but will feature MiniLED technology and likely camera improvements. Reports also indicate the potential release of a Pro Display XDR 2, which could complement the new Mac Pro launch.
