Momenta, a venture capital firm specializing in industrial technology, has led an investment in Stuttgart-based NODE Robotics, a company focused on AI-powered fleet management for Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs). The funding will accelerate NODE’s global expansion and enhance its AI-driven automation capabilities for industrial operations.

AI-powered fleet automation for industrial robotics

NODE Robotics develops hardware-flexible fleet management software, enabling manufacturers and logistics providers to integrate and coordinate diverse fleets of AMRs and AGVs across multiple vendors. This approach eliminates costly integration challenges and allows businesses to adopt plug-and-play automation for material handling and logistics.

Germany, a leader in industrial robotics, provides a strong foundation for NODE’s growth, with Stuttgart serving as a hub for AI-driven automation research and development. The company, founded in 2020, is led by Stefan Doerr-Laukien (CEO), Lukas Teichmann (CFO), and Jannik Abbenseth (CTO).

Expanding global adoption of autonomous robotics

NODE’s technology is already deployed in over 1,000 robots worldwide, with partnerships including BMW Group, idealworks, and SHERPA Mobile Robotics. Its AI-powered fleet solutions improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime during software updates, and ensure seamless integration into industrial workflows.

By simplifying fleet management, NODE Robotics helps businesses optimize their supply chain operations, ensuring uninterrupted performance in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Momenta’s investment, backed by Rockwell Automation, NS Solutions, and Advantech, will help NODE accelerate adoption across industrial sectors by integrating the company into its global network of technology partners, OEMs, and industrial leaders.

“Autonomy is no longer a future vision—it’s a necessity for modern industry,” said Ken Forster, founding partner at Momenta. “NODE Robotics delivers a scalable, AI-driven solution for autonomous industrial robot operations.”

With this funding, NODE aims to expand its AI-driven autonomy solutions globally, enabling more companies to implement flexible, scalable robotic fleets.
