Xiaomi will unveil its Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max smartphone series in China on Thursday, September 25. The launch event is scheduled for 7 PM Beijing time, which corresponds to 11 AM UTC.

The standard Xiaomi 17 and the 17 Pro will share display specifications, both featuring a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen. These displays will have a 19.6:9 aspect ratio and are surrounded by uniform 1.18mm bezels. All three models in the new series are confirmed to use M10 screen luminescence technology, which Xiaomi claims provides an luminous efficiency of 82.1 cd/A, the industry’s highest.

Exclusive to the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is a new independently arranged RGB pixel stack. This technology is engineered to eliminate an effect described as “pixel pooling” and consumes 26% less power when compared to conventional 2K displays. Furthermore, the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models will be equipped with the company’s new Jinshajiang battery. This power source features L-shaped packaging stacked technology and a 16% high-silicon content, supporting 100W wired charging.
