Longer has introduced the Nano Duo, a new AI-powered laser engraver, alongside LaserBurn, an engraving software designed to optimize precision and efficiency. The Nano Duo and the Nano Ruby galvo system engraver will be available on Kickstarter starting February 11.

Nano Duo

Building on the success of its previous models, the Nano Duo integrates a 20W diode and 2W infrared laser, improving precision, speed, and versatility. It supports LightBurn, LaserGRBL, and Longer’s AI software LaserBurn, making it adaptable for various engraving needs.

One of its key innovations is vertical cutting technology, enabled by the Dual-Axis Extension. This feature distinguishes the Nano Duo from other engravers by allowing both horizontal and vertical cutting, making it suitable for intricate designs and multi-dimensional projects.

LaserBurn

The LaserBurn software, available for free on iOS and Google Play, introduces AI-powered automation to streamline engraving. Features include:

  • Automatic focus control for precise engraving.
  • AI-assisted image generation for enhanced design flexibility.
  • Real-time previewing to minimize errors and material waste.
  • Batch synchronization for efficient large-scale engraving.

With AI auto-placement sensing, designs are accurately positioned on materials, reducing the need for manual adjustments and improving overall efficiency.

According to Amazon’s December 2024 best-selling list, Longer’s laser engravers ranked as top-selling products in the US. The Nano Duo continues this momentum with advanced features aimed at both professionals and hobbyists.

The Nano Duo will launch on Kickstarter on February 11, starting at $999 for the full version and $599 for the base model.
