Meta Horizon+ subscriptions now include the Xbox Game Pass starter edition, providing access to over 50 games at no additional cost. Subscribers receive 10 hours of cloud gaming access per month for use on their Meta Quest virtual reality headset. Games from the library can also be downloaded to a PC or Xbox console for unlimited play.
Notable titles available in the starter edition include Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Grounded, Overcooked 2, DayZ, Deep Rock Galactic, and SnowRunner. The service supports cloud saves, allowing players to continue their progress across PC, Xbox consoles, and other devices. Online multiplayer support is available for both cloud and PC gaming.
Players have the option to stream certain owned games on the Meta Quest headset while earning rewards through gameplay on Xbox Game Pass. A feature allows users to stream Game Pass titles with various virtual display sizes, including an option extending up to 26 feet.
An Xbox-themed immersive space is accessible for gaming on the Meta Quest headset. Users can connect traditional controllers for gameplay, and Meta Quest Touch controllers will soon be able to emulate an Xbox gamepad, enhancing the gaming experience. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have had the ability to stream games using a Meta Quest headset for several years.
Additionally, Xbox has collaborated with Discord to provide Nitro subscribers with a similar Game Pass starter pack. This collaboration expands gaming access within the Meta ecosystem and offers players more integrated options.
