Meta’s 2026 Conversations messaging conference will be held on June 3 in London, showcasing innovations and upgrades for its messaging platforms, including WhatsApp, Messenger, and IG Direct.
The event will feature various Meta executives discussing the future of messaging for businesses and the integration of AI tools into messaging apps. This year marks the fifth annual Meta Business Messaging conference, themed “Conversations,” which will also be accessible via live-stream in all regions.
Meta stated, “Conversations is our annual Meta Business Messaging conference — now in its fifth year. The 2026 keynote brings together enterprise leaders, developers, SMBs, ecosystem partners, and industry thought leaders.”
The company plans to invest over $600 billion in AI infrastructure over the next three years. AI will be a primary focus, with discussions on custom chatbots and AI agents designed to enhance business communications.
“This year’s keynote is focused on the innovations that matter most: winning new customers, keeping them coming back and scaling your business with AI-enabled messaging,” Meta emphasized.
The keynote may also address Meta’s AI clone project, which could allow businesses to create AI representations of staff for interaction within its apps. Messaging has gained priority for Meta as more users shift from public posting to private messaging groups.
Usage of WhatsApp has notably risen in the U.S. Meta is enhancing tools for fostering connections, including business connections within private chats. The adoption of Meta’s Click-to-Message ads is increasing rapidly.
