Hades 2 will launch on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on April 14, Supergiant Games announced.
The release expands the game’s availability to major console platforms, potentially increasing its player base following its prior PC and Nintendo Switch launch.
The roguelite action RPG will also be available on Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Hades 2 debuted its full version on PC and Nintendo Switch in September, following more than a year in Steam’s early access program.
Players control Melinoë, the sister of Zagreus, the protagonist from the original Hades. Melinoë features a longer dash, a sprint ability, and a focus on area-of-effect attacks.
The game includes various features such as challenging bosses across multiple paths, animal familiars, customizable weapons, and romantic subplots.
