Honor announced the MagicPad 4 ahead of its full release at Mobile World Conference (MWC), positioning the device as the world’s thinnest Android tablet. The new tablet measures 4.8mm thick, excluding the camera bump, and runs MagicOS 10, Honor’s version of Android 16. It features a 12.3-inch 165Hz OLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The MagicPad 4’s 4.8mm thickness makes it a full millimeter thinner than the MagicPad 3. The design also slimmer than the 5.1mm iPad Pro and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11. Despite the smaller footprint, the device weighs 450g, which is 145 grams lighter than its predecessor. This weight reduction is attributed to the new screen technology and a slightly smaller 10,100 mAh battery. A 66W fast charger is included in the box.
Under the hood, the tablet supports up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 9MP front camera. The device also includes eight speakers designed to provide spatial audio. Pricing and availability details have not been announced. Honor is expected to provide further information during its press conference on Sunday, where the company may also showcase its recently revealed robot.
