Nvidia has announced that its GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card will be available for purchase on May 19th, starting at $299. The company will also release laptops featuring the RTX 5060, with prices beginning at $1,099.

The RTX 5060 will be available from retail partners at 9AM PT / 12PM ET on May 19th. It has 3,840 CUDA cores, which is nearly 800 fewer than the RTX 5060 Ti released last month. Despite being the most basic model in the RTX 50-series, the RTX 5060 features GDDR7 memory, supports DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, and includes the latest ray tracing and tensor cores.

Nvidia states that several games are being updated to support DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation before the RTX 5060’s launch. These include MechWarrior 5: Clans on May 7th and New World: Aeternum on May 13th. However, the RTX 5060 has 8GB of VRAM, which may be a limitation for some users.

The actual price of the RTX 5060 may exceed its suggested retail price of $299 due to market conditions. Retailers have been selling GPUs at a premium, and recent changes to import taxes could further impact pricing. The removal of the de minimus exemption could lead to extra taxes on shipments valued at or under $800.
