OpenAI is adding more features to its popular chatbot. Recently, the company announced ChatGPT Enterprise, which aims to improve the experience of business owners and such.
Capitalizing on the viral success of ChatGPT, OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Enterprise, a version of its AI-powered chatbot application designed for business use. ChatGPT Enterprise, a concept initially hinted at in a blog post by OpenAI earlier this year, is capable of executing the same functions as ChatGPT.
“We’re launching ChatGPT Enterprise, which offers enterprise-grade security and privacy, unlimited higher-speed GPT-4 access, longer context windows for processing longer inputs, advanced data analysis capabilities, customization options, and much more. We believe AI can assist and elevate every aspect of our working lives and make teams more creative and productive. Today marks another step towards an AI assistant for work that helps with any task, is customized for your organization, and that protects your company data,” OpenAI says on the official page.
ChatGPT Enterprise features
ChatGPT Enterprise offers the same capabilities as ChatGPT, such as drafting emails, writing essays, and debugging code. However, this enterprise edition includes added features like enhanced privacy and data analysis functionalities, improved performance, and customization options.
The new admin console allows organizations to manage employee usage, integrate single sign-on, verify domains, and access usage statistics. It also provides shareable conversation templates for internal workflows and offers OpenAI’s API platform credits for creating customized solutions.
How to use ChatGPT custom instructions effectively
ChatGPT Enterprise includes unrestricted access to Advanced Data Analysis, formerly called Code Interpreter. This feature allows ChatGPT to analyze data, create charts, solve math problems, and generate insights from uploaded files. Previously, this feature was only available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers.
OpenAI considers ChatGPT Enterprise complementary to ChatGPT Plus, its premium consumer-tier subscription for the web and mobile apps, emphasizing that both will continue to be available.
ChatGPT Enterprise specs
ChatGPT Enterprise operates on GPT-4, OpenAI’s premier AI model, much like ChatGPT Plus. However, the subscribers receive prioritized access to GPT-4, which boasts twice the speed of the standard GPT-4 version and a broadened context window of approximately 32,000 tokens (~25,000 words).
The concept of a context window pertains to the text considered by the model before generating additional content. Tokens signify units of raw text, such as splitting the word “fantastic” into tokens like “fan,” “tas,” and “tic.” Generally, models with expansive context windows are less prone to “forgetting” recent conversation content.
To address concerns of businesses that may have restricted their employees from using the consumer ChatGPT, OpenAI underlines that models in ChatGPT Enterprise won’t be trained on business or usage data. Additionally, all conversations with ChatGPT Enterprise are encrypted both during transmission and while at rest.

OpenAI expresses its belief that AI can enhance every facet of the work environment, fostering creativity and productivity among teams. The blog post highlights the substantial business interest in an enterprise-oriented ChatGPT, asserting that ChatGPT, one of the fastest-growing consumer applications in history, has been embraced by over 80% of Fortune 500 companies’ teams.
“We look forward to sharing an even more detailed roadmap with prospective customers and continuing to evolve ChatGPT Enterprise based on your feedback,” OpenAI says.
