Google announced significant changes to its AI subscription plans at the I/O 2026 showcase, reducing the price of its top-tier offering. The Google AI Ultra plan now starts at $100 a month, down from $250, making advanced AI tools more accessible.
All three subscription tiers include basic features such as Gemini 3.5 Flash and the Gemini App with Omni. The $20-a-month AI Pro plan provides additional access to core services, a YouTube Premium Lite subscription, and the upcoming Google Pics in Workspace.
The $100 Ultra plan offers five times the usage limits compared to the AI Pro plan, while also including a YouTube Premium Lite subscription and the forthcoming Gemini Spark. However, the storage limit for the Ultra plan has decreased from 30TB to 20TB.
In addition, there is a $200 option within the Ultra plan that includes access to the Project Genie world model and provides four times the usage limits of the $100 tier. This revised pricing structure aims to enhance customer engagement with Google’s AI offerings while downscaling previous costs significantly.
