PROS, a big data software company, today announced Rexam PLC has selected PROS big data applications to enhance its sales effectiveness initiatives.

Headquartered in London, Rexam is one of the world’s leading beverage can makers with approximately 8,000 employees across Europe, North America, South America, and in the Africa, Middle East and Asia region. Rexam operates 55 manufacturing sites in 20 countries.

Rexam produces approximately 60 billion cans each year, used for beer, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, iced tea, juices and additional innovative beverages. Beverage cans are infinitely recyclable with no loss of quality and have the highest recycling rate of any beverage pack, which makes them key contributors to a circular economy.

“We operate a global process manufacturing business in a highly competitive marketplace, managing a range of raw materials and currency fluctuations. In this complex environment, we were looking for a partner that could help us improve our market agility, respond more quickly and enhance the customer experience,” said Rexam Group Marketing Director Oliver Graham. “The depth of PROS experience working in the manufacturing industry, the strength of its customer relationships and its seamless integration with SAP made PROS the best choice for our business.”

“We have seen how our big data technologies can enable businesses worldwide to improve their sales effectiveness,” said PROS EMEA General Manager Sebastian Mamro. “PROS engages closely with customers to identify solutions that help them outperform. Rexam is a highly regarded global leader in its market, and we appreciate the opportunity to partner with them to meet their goals of driving commercial excellence and enhancing customer experience.”
