Samsung unveiled a 130-inch Micro RGB TV concept at the CES 2026 First Look event in Las Vegas, where the show runs from January 4 to January 9. The display is suspended by a large metal stand that surrounds the screen and permits a slight tilt.

The stand design reinvents Samsung’s “timeless gallery” stand introduced in 2013. This structure encircles the entire 130-inch screen, providing both support and the capacity for minor adjustments in viewing angle. During the presentation, Samsung positioned the TV in this freestanding configuration to demonstrate its scale and engineering.

The Micro RGB TV employs an evolved form of Mini-LED technology. This approach delivers improved color accuracy and richness compared to previous iterations. The technology aligns with that used in LG’s Micro RGB set, enabling precise reproduction of hues and deeper saturation levels across the expansive display surface.

Samsung representatives specified that the 130-inch model exists solely as a concept. The company has no plans to ship it as a commercial product. This status underscores the demonstration’s role in showcasing potential advancements in display technology rather than announcing availability.

In a separate demonstration, Samsung mounted the 130-inch screen directly onto a wall. The installation maintained the display’s visual impact in this format. For the version incorporating the “timeless gallery” stand, wall mounting requires affixing the entire stand to the surface, as it functions integrally with the TV’s speaker system.

The TV operates using Samsung’s “Micro RGB AI Engine Pro” processor. This processor incorporates “Micro RGB Color Booster Pro” and “Micro RGB HDR Pro” AI technologies. According to Samsung, these components “enhance dull tones and refine contrast, delivering vivid color and subtle detail across bright and dark scenes alike for realism and picture fidelity.” The AI-driven processing analyzes and optimizes image data in real time to achieve these effects.

Additional display features include Glare-Free technology, which minimizes reflections from ambient light sources. The TV supports HDR 10+ Advanced formatting for expanded dynamic range. Audio performance relies on Samsung’s Eclipsa Audio system, integrated into the design for immersive sound output.

Connectivity extends to smart assistant integrations. The display works with Samsung’s Vision AI Companion to enable conversational search capabilities. It also supports Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity, allowing users to perform voice-based queries and receive responses directly on the screen.

The 130-inch Micro RGB TV concept carries no purchase option in its presented form. Samsung offered a 115-inch Micro RGB model last year at a price of $30,000. Consumers in the ultra-rich segment may opt for Samsung’s Micro-LED televisions, which begin at $110,000 and provide distinct performance characteristics, including benefits associated with OLED technology that the Micro RGB approach lacks.
