Adobe launched a Firefly application on iOS and Android, expanding access to its AI platform. The app provides users with image and video generation capabilities through Adobe’s Firefly models and third-party models.

The Firefly mobile app mirrors the functionality of the redesigned Firefly web app launched in April, incorporating models from OpenAI (GPT image generation), Google (Imagen 3 and Veo 2), and Flux (Flux 1.1 Pro). Users can generate images or videos from prompts, convert images to videos, edit images with generative fill, or expand images with generative expand.

Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers can store projects initiated on the Firefly mobile app in the cloud for access across web and desktop platforms. Support for third-party models has also been expanded to include Flux.1 Kontext by Black Forest Labs, Ideogram 3.0 by Ideogram, and Gen-4 Image by Runway.
