At Legalweek 2025, global legal technology firm Relativity showcased its generative AI product suite, Relativity aiR, emphasizing how the tech’s speed and accuracy are reshaping legal review processes. The company also announced that aiR for Review is now available in RelativityOne Government.

Phil Saunders, CEO of Relativity, stated that the company has been investing in AI for years, positioning itself to help customers succeed. He emphasized that Relativity is not just evolving with the industry but is actively driving it forward.

Since its general availability in RelativityOne in late 2024, hundreds of customers have adopted aiR for Review and aiR for Privilege. Early adopters reported significant time savings, cost reductions, and enhanced data security.

Cody Holifield, Director of Managed Review at Cimplifi, highlighted that aiR for Privilege is cost-effective, accurate, and efficient compared to linear processes. He noted its ability to recognize complex privilege concepts and provide rationales, which has boosted client confidence.

aiR for Review leverages generative AI to quickly identify impactful content, reducing discrepancies and knowledge gaps. Customers have reported up to 70% cost savings, 80% reduction in review time, and over 90% recall.

James Whittington, Associate Director, Disputes & eDiscovery at Gravity Stack, mentioned that legal teams now expect AI-enhanced document review. He shared that feedback on aiR for Review has been overwhelmingly positive, with one legal team noting that the tool’s review rationale was clearer than attorney notes.

Relativity ensures that all its AI solutions align with the company’s AI Principles, providing humans with clarity and control over every AI component.

Beginning March 31, aiR for Review will be available in RelativityOne Government, enabling public sector legal practitioners to improve the speed and quality of document review in litigation, investigations, and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. It is the only FedRAMP-authorized generative AI solution purpose-built for document review.

JND Legal Administration has used aiR for Review to help a government agency conduct issue review on 650,000 documents in just one week, reducing the review time by approximately 80%.

Ben Sexton, Senior Vice President of Innovation and Strategy at JND, noted that both state and federal agencies have expressed tremendous interest in using aiR for Review. He highlighted that aiR allows agencies to find the most important documents efficiently, even with limited resources.

aiR for Privilege will be available within RelativityOne Government by the end of this year.

Relativity also hosted its fourth annual private dinner celebrating the 2025 AI Visionaries, highlighting leaders from Fortune 500 companies and top Am Law firms who have led AI innovations in legal applications.

Relativity is sponsoring and participating in Legalweek sessions on Tuesday, March 25, with thought leaders covering topics such as legal ethics around generative AI and negotiating electronically stored information protocols for using generative AI in e-discovery.

Attendees at Legalweek 2025 can visit Relativity at booth #2000 in Americas Hall 1 and at The Grove on the first floor of The Luxury Collection Hotel. In The Grove, guests can gain hands-on experience using aiR for Review.

Relativity, a SaaS product, helps users organize data, discover the truth, and act on it, with more than 300,000 users in approximately 40 countries, visit www.relativity.com for more information.
