Apple is getting creative with new ideas to make life at home even easier. According to Bloomberg, they’re thinking about making robots that can help with everyday tasks, like following you around the house or moving things around on a table.

Exploring robots

Apple’s engineers are tinkering with cool ideas for robots that could be part of our homes. One idea is a robot that can roll around and follow you wherever you go indoors. Another idea is a gadget for your table that can move its screen around all by itself. These projects are still in the early stages, but they show that Apple is serious about making our homes smarter.

Why they’re doing this?

After deciding not to make a car and while they are releasing LLM called ReaLM allegedly beats GPT-4, Apple needs to find new ways to make money. They think making helpful robots for our homes could be a big opportunity.

But it’s not easy – they have to figure out if people will actually want these gadgets and how to make them work really well.

Challenges ahead

Making robots for homes isn’t a walk in the park. Apple’s smart people have to solve tricky problems like making sure the robots don’t fall over and finding out what we’d be willing to pay for them. There’s also a lot of debate among Apple’s top bosses about whether these robot ideas are worth it.

Learning from mistakes

Even though Apple’s electric car project didn’t work out, they learned a lot from it. Some of the technology they were developing for the car is now being used for these new robot ideas. So, even when things don’t go as planned, Apple finds a way to make something good out of it.

What’s next?

Apple is still figuring things out, but they’re hiring people to work on these robot ideas, which shows they’re serious about making them real. They’re excited about what the future holds, and while there are challenges ahead, Apple is known for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with technology.

Apple’s journey into home robotics is just getting started, but it shows their commitment to making our lives easier and more connected. While there’s still a long way to go, Apple’s determination and creativity could lead to some exciting innovations in the future. Keep an eye out for what’s next from Apple – it might just change the way we think about robots in our homes.
