GoGrid, a leading cloud infrastructure company, announced last week that it has partnered with Cloudera, the leading provider of Apache Hadoop-based data management software and services, as a member of its Cloudera Connect Partner Program. The program, designed to propagate the innovative use of Apache Hadoop for a range of business applications, represents the industry’s most comprehensive ecosystem of technology solutions vendors, value added resellers (VARs), and managed service providers (MSPs) offering Hadoop-based solutions and services.

GoGrid in partnership with Cloudera has made the deployment of the Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop easy with 1-Button Deploy™ technology. Customers can choose to deploy a 14-Day Trial POC (proof of concept), of a vanilla Cloudera Enterprise Deployment, Cloudera Enterprise with Zoomdata or Cloudera Enterprise with Tableau. The Cloudera Enterprise cluster contains a 60-day Trial of Cloudera Enterprise. The Tableau and Zoomdata clusters function as demos, with data already pre-loaded.

Ed Albanese, head of business development for Cloudera stated, “We’re pleased to welcome GoGrid into the Cloudera Connect network of valued service and solution providers for Apache Hadoop,” He added, “As a premier infrastructure-as-a-service provider, GoGrid focuses on delivering outstanding usability and giving customers a choice of deployment options. This unique value set makes the company an ideal partner for any business wanting to run Hadoop-based Big Data applications on a high-performance infrastructure. We’re excited to be working with GoGrid and look forward to the benefits our mutual customers will gain from this partnership.”

GoGrid has more than a decade of experience hosting complex infrastructure for businesses around the globe. They are the leading pure-play infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) providers specializing in cloud infrastructure solutions. They are currently powering thousands of customers globally, making complex infrastructure easy by enabling businesses to revolutionize their IT environments in the cloud.

Rupert Tagnipes, senior product manager at GoGrid  stated- “GoGrid delivers high-performance infrastructure that’s a strong fit for customers looking for a production-grade Big Data environment,” He said “We’re excited to work with Cloudera to bring their experience and excellence in developing Hadoop solutions to GoGrid’s proven hybrid cloud infrastructure.”

“Companies today recognize the enormous potential of Big Data solutions, but still struggle to find ways to evaluate and implement them in a timely and cost-effective manner,” said GoGrid CEO John Keagy, in a statement.
