This annual Recap feature showcases selected photos and videos, incorporating cinematic effects and graphics to highlight key moments from the year. Users can share their Recaps directly from the app to social media or messaging platforms.
For the 2025 iteration, Google has introduced enhanced control over the Recap content. Users now have the option to hide specific individuals or photos from their personalized Recaps. If modifications are made, a revised version of the Recap is generated and becomes available within approximately 30 minutes.
