Galaxy S25 FE to launch with Exynos 2400 SoC

S25 FE will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor and include a 12 MP selfie camera and 45 watt wired charging.

Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 FE, with a new report from Korean news outlet indicating an introduction on September 19. This date precedes the S24 FE’s debut, which occurred on September 26, with availability beginning October 3.

The domestic pricing for the Galaxy S25 FE in Korea is projected to be less than KRW 1 million. This figure translates to approximately $721 or €620 based on current exchange rates. The report also suggests that the S25 FE’s price will either align with its predecessor’s cost or experience a marginal increase.

Specifications for the Galaxy S25 FE include Samsung’s Exynos 2400 SoC. The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. Its camera configuration is rumored to include a 50 MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12 MP f/2.2 ultrawide lens, and an 8 MP f/2.4 telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front-facing camera is anticipated to be a 12 MP unit.

Powering the device is a 4,500 mAh battery, supporting 45W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The Galaxy S25 FE is reported to measure 161.3 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm and weigh 190g. It is expected to carry an IP68 rating, indicating resistance to dust and water. The smartphone is projected to launch with One UI 8, based on Android 16.

Comparisons to its predecessor indicate the S25 FE will be marginally shorter, narrower, thinner, and lighter. This reduction in size is accompanied by a smaller battery capacity, reduced by 200 mAh, although the charging speed is expected to be faster. Beyond the updated SoC, the primary enhancement noted is in the selfie camera.
