Fibocom unveils 5G AI mobile hotspot solution

Fibocom has launched its next-generation 5G AI Mobile Hotspot Solution, integrating 5G connectivity with advanced AI-driven voice interaction in Shenzhen, China, on April 25, 2024. The solution enables mobile hotspots to become intelligent, AI-powered hubs, supporting multilingual voice activation and interaction.

The device, powered by a customized AI App, allows users to control functions and access services via voice commands. It also enables instant local content retrieval, providing quick access to stored documents and cached media. A real-time AI translation engine supports over 20 languages, including Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with up to 95% accuracy.

The 5G AI Mobile Hotspot Solution is powered by the Qualcomm QCM4490 platform, featuring an 8-core 4nm CPU with speeds up to 2.4GHz. It is fully compliant with 3GPP Release 16, supporting NR 2CC 120MHz and achieving downlink speeds up to 2.33Gbps on Sub-6GHz bands. The device features dual SIM standby, USB 3.1, and Ethernet support, as well as 15W fast charging and reverse charging.

The solution is compatible with Android/Linux dual OS, 1080P displays, and external cameras, supporting various application scenarios. It also integrates Qualcomm’s next-gen Wi-Fi 7 chipset, delivering speeds up to BE5800 and providing a robust 5G-Wi-Fi 7 hotspot experience.
