Samsung Electronics just dropped a wave of new gaming and professional monitors, initially teased at CES 2025. These include the Odyssey OLED, 3D gaming monitors, and ViewFinity S8. Pre-orders began on March 24, 2025, in select markets.
Odyssey 3D
Samsung’s 2025 lineup starts with the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), a 27-inch monitor that delivers a glasses-free 3D experience. It leverages eye-tracking technology and a lenticular lens to simulate 3D imagery, enhancing immersion in games and videos.
Samsung is partnering with game developers like Nexon (The First Berserker: Khazan) and Neowiz (Lies of P and its upcoming Overture DLC) to showcase this tech. The monitor features AI video conversion, 4K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and support for both FreeSync and G-Sync.

Odyssey OLED G8
The 2025 Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) comes in 27-inch and 32-inch options, both offering 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate. These models use QD-OLED panels, certified with VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400.
Key features include UL-certified Glare Free technology and Samsung’s OLED Safeguard+ with a Dynamic Cooling system, leveraging a Pulsating Heat Pipe for better heat management. It also boasts a 0.03ms response time, FreeSync Premium Pro, and G-Sync support. A slim metal design, Core Lighting+, and an ergonomic stand complete the package.
Odyssey G9
The Odyssey G9 (G91F) is a 49-inch ultrawide monitor with a Dual QHD display and a 1000R curve. It offers a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support. The monitor includes VESA DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ Gaming certifications. Multitasking is made easy with Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture modes.
ViewFinity S8
The Samsung ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) is aimed at creative professionals. This 37-inch monitor features 4K resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, HDR10, and supports 1 billion colors. It also has a TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection. Additional features include a 90W USB-C port and a KVM switch.
The company has yet to announce pricing details.
