Samsung has confirmed that the stable One UI 7 update will begin rolling out to older Galaxy flagships starting April 7. The update will first be available for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

The rollout plan confirms that the Android 15-based update will gradually expand to other models, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S10 series, and Tab S9 series.
While users have already gained insight into One UI 7 through its presence on the Galaxy S25 series and the ongoing beta program for the Galaxy S24 lineup, the stable update is approaching its launch. Starting April 7, the update will initiate with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Samsung’s announcement details that One UI 7 will introduce a bold new design aimed at enhancing personalization and user control. The interface will be built for AI, enabling users to interact with their devices more naturally.

One UI 7 aims to provide a streamlined and cohesive experience. It offers a simplified home screen, redesigned One UI widgets, and a customizable lock screen. Additionally, the Now Bar will provide real-time updates directly on the lock screen.
The update introduces smarter AI features designed to enhance productivity and creativity. With Galaxy AI, users can reduce the need to switch between applications. For instance, AI Select can recommend actions based on context, allowing users to save video content as GIFs using the Edge Panel.
Writing Assist enables users to summarize and format text easily. One UI 7 also includes tools for editing, like Drawing Assist, which helps users combine text prompts, images, or sketches, and Audio Eraser, which isolates sounds and removes background noise from videos.
The update incorporates deeper Google Gemini integration, simplifying device control. Users can activate this by pressing the side button and requesting information verbally. Furthermore, natural language search extends to Settings, allowing users to adjust preferences effortlessly.
