Caliber, a provider of digital solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, has announced the launch of four new products aimed at enhancing quality control, quality assurance, manufacturing, and data insights. The launches took place at Caliber Commune 2025, the company’s user forum event, which reportedly attracted over 400 industry leaders. The new solutions are designed to integrate AI and other advanced technologies to help life sciences companies achieve “Pharma 4.0” readiness, improve compliance, and navigate the evolving regulatory landscape.
New AI-powered tools for pharma
The four newly launched solutions are:
- CalGenie: Described as a “pharma-focused, Gen AI-powered tool,” CalGenie is designed to streamline a company’s internal quality value chain. It provides instant answers to queries, performs complex calculations, and generates intelligent summaries. It is available as a mobile app and works offline.
- CaliberMetrix: Aligned with the FDA’s quality metrics guidance, CaliberMetrix offers a real-time view of quality performance, enabling companies to identify inefficiencies and mitigate compliance risks.
- CaliberPulse: A statistical analysis tool specifically designed for the pharmaceutical industry. It integrates with actual data sources to provide accurate predictions, aiming to enhance proactiveness, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
- CalWare360: A warehouse management system designed to enhance security, traceability, and compliance. It offers features such as digitalized racking, real-time inventory tracking, and integration with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and EBR (Electronic Batch Record) systems.
Caliber’s CEO, Sekhar Surabhi, who is also the Chair of ISPE India’s Pharma 4.0 Community of Practice (CoP), emphasized that the company’s products are built to add value to the industry and address the challenges posed by regulatory, technological, and economic changes.
The company also highlighted the latest version of its flagship product, CaliberLIMS4.0, a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) designed to support next-generation QC (Quality Control) laboratories. Caliber has a global presence, with offices in Pittsburgh, the Netherlands, and India, and serves customers in over 16 countries.
