The Pika Lip Sync feature has been launched for the platform’s subscribers, allowing the integration of spoken dialogue into videos.
This innovative feature grants users the capability to enhance their videos with AI-generated voices provided by the generative audio startup ElevenLabs, complemented by synchronized animations that ensure characters’ mouths move in harmony with the spoken dialogue.
Using ElevenLabs’ technology, the Pika Lip Sync functionality extends support to both text-to-audio conversions and the incorporation of pre-recorded audio tracks. This allows users the flexibility to script or record desired dialogues for their AI-created video characters within Pika, offering the ability to also customize the voice’s style.
Currently, access to this feature is restricted to Pika Pro subscribers, who invest in a $58 monthly subscription (billed annually at $696), and to select members of the “Super Collaborators” program, which is an invitation-only group within Pika’s Discord community, marking the feature as an exclusive “early access” privilege.
