According to a Harvard professor, AI will be used by aliens to speak with us instead of humans as their first point of contact. The Harvard professor AI predictions show the dangers of AI.
In a forthcoming documentary titled God Versus Aliens, Avi Loeb offered the hypothesis that extraterrestrial visitors will likely send AI drones to Earth rather than ‘crewed’ vessels.
Harvard professor: AI will be contacted by aliens
A Harvard physicist named Avi Loeb has opined that aliens are much more likely to make their first contact through AI than with humans.
The 61-year-old thinks drones are more likely to be delivered to Earth by extraterrestrials than crewed spacecraft. The theory was expressed in his most recent movie, God Versus Aliens.
Mark Christopher Lee, a British musician and the show’s director told DailyMail.com that Loeb has a “very active mind” but that his hypothesis is based on the enormous distance that extraterrestrials could have to traverse to reach us
How vectorization is helping identify UFOs, UAPs, and whether aliens are responsible
“Loeb proposes that it’s likely to be some form of AI because why would you send flesh and blood creatures? That implies that it’s possible for their AI to communicate with other AI and ignore people, which is a little unsettling to consider. Loeb hypothesizes that the alien AI may identify with ours or that our AI may emulate the alien AI and resemble it.” Lee said.
According to Avi, there could be an incredible 4,000,000,000,000,000,000 (four quintillions) UFOs that are actively traveling throughout the solar system.
Alien crash expedition
Lee added that Loeb had flown to Papua New Guinea to start a $1.5 million ocean expedition to search for the remains of an object that purportedly crashed into the water in 2014.
In 2019, Israeli astronomer Loeb and his co-author Amir Siraj came to the conclusion that in 2014, Earth was struck by a body coming from outside our solar system.
Dangers of AI
The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) has ushered in a new era of technological advancement and is altering many facets of life. Chatbots are not an exception to the perilous hazards and daunting obstacles that accompany the revolutionary influence of AI.
While delivering a wide range of services, including information, entertainment, and customer service, chatbots are immensely advantageous. However, they also pose a significant threat to various areas, including security, privacy, ethics, and society at large. Here are a few risks associated with AI chatbots:
- Security
- Privacy
- Ethical
- Social
Unsecured or unregulated chatbots pose a risk to the private or sensitive information of individuals or businesses. Chatbot developers should use strong encryption, authentication, verification, and moderation systems to reduce the risks associated with AI.
Additionally, it’s crucial to follow all ethical, legal, and privacy-related norms and rules.
Geoffrey Hinton left Google for a reason
The man known as the father of artificial intelligence (AI), Geoffrey Hinton, announced his resignation from Google and said he now regretted his work. Hinton’s research paved the way for contemporary systems like ChatGPT, but in a BBC interview, he cautioned against some “quite scary” dangers related to AI chatbots.
One of the founders of deep learning, a branch of artificial intelligence that employs neural networks to learn from massive quantities of data and carry out tasks like speech synthesis, picture identification, and natural language processing, is Geoffrey Hinton. Some of the fundamental ideas and techniques that underlie deep learning, such as capsule networks, are credited to him.
