Red Hat Introduces Open Virtual Appliance for Seamless OpenStack Evaluations

Open Virtual Appliance for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform eases the installation process, providing organisations the ability to run Red Hat’s enterprise-ready OpenStack platform and experience the power of OpenStack firsthand. With only a few clicks and basic VMware environment information, customers can use Open Virtual Appliance for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform to quickly and easily deploy a non-production OpenStack environment on an evaluation basis at no cost.

For customers interested in a fully supported version of OpenStack, Red Hat offers Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, an enterprise-ready distribution of OpenStack, designed to bring customers the same value and benefits they have long associated with Red Hat, including a long and stable product lifecycle; award-winning global support, services and training. Availability

Open Virtual Appliance for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform is expected to be available in the coming week for users to download from theRed Hat Customer Portal Page for use in their Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform or VMware, vSphere or vCloud Suite environments.

Consulting and Training Offerings for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform

Red Hat Global Services offers a variety of consulting and training offerings designed to deploy and optimise Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform. Using validated methods for installing and configuring the technology, Red Hat Consulting works with customers to determine needs and define a technology roadmap, architect and deploy Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform, migrate workloads, and provide guidance on best practices for ongoing success.

Red Hat Training complements these engagements with courses designed to provide customers with skills needed to install, configure, and manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform. With four different OpenStack courses offered globally in modalities ranging from classroom to on-site to online learning, Red Hat Training also offers a performance-based certification exam, Red Hat Certified System Administrator in Red Hat OpenStack, which validates skills needed to create, configure, and manage private clouds using the technology.
