SiSense, a leader in big data analytics for business users, today announced the appointment of Mark Ferretti to the position of Vice President, Global Alliances & Channels. Ferretti, the company’s first-ever Channel Chief will be responsible for developing and growing a network of alliances and partners globally.
In June, SiSense closed $30M in Series C financing led by prominent venture capital firm DFJ Growth, with participation from existing investors Battery Ventures, Genesis Partners and Opus Capital.
“We’re moving full speed ahead in hyper-growth mode,” says SiSense CEO Amit Bendov. “We’ve tripled subscription revenues each year for the past three years and now we are building a strong channel presence and forming alliances that will further accelerate our rapid growth. Partnerships represent a major expansion opportunity, and Mark has the proven expertise to recruit world class partners and educate them on how SiSense makes big data analytics accessible and affordable for companies of all sizes.”
Ferretti brings over 25 years of channel experience with global giants including IBM and Computer Associates, as well as extensive business intelligence partnership knowledge serving in senior positions with Business Objects, Cognos, QlikTech and with price optimization software company, PROS.
“I’ve worked at every evolution of Business Intelligence in my career and SiSense represents the next generation,” Ferretti said. “SiSense has a formidable sales engine and we will be creating an equally impressive outbound program both globally and vertically focused. For instance, by building relationships with quality partners who have domain expertise, SiSense can more easily secure vertical market leadership positions — and that’s just the beginning of boundless growth opportunities.”
SiSense recently introduced SiSense 5, the first analytics solution enabling non-technical users to join multiple data sources, analyze billions of records and share interactive dashboards from any device, including mobile. Its back-end is powered by a proprietary In-Chip technology architecture that yields 100x more data scalability and 10x faster performance than in-memory architectures.
