Spotify Wrapped 2025: More layers, stories and connection than ever before

The wait is officially over. Spotify Wrapped 2025 is here, marking the annual, highly anticipated release that summarizes the audio landscape that defined the year for millions of users globally. Since introducing the personalized Wrapped concept in 2015, Spotify has consistently iterated on the experience, and the 2025 edition goes “bigger and bolder,” adding substantial new features and interactive elements that deepen the connection between fans, artists, creators, and authors.

Accessing your 2025 Wrapped experience

The personalized Wrapped experience is available to both Free and Premium users in nearly all active markets.

  • Eligibility: To unlock the full, personalized experience, users must have streamed at least 30 songs for more than 30 seconds each, and listened to at least five different artists during the year. (Note: Streams from Private Mode or excluded playlists do not count.)

  • Where to Find It: Ensure your Spotify mobile app (iOS and Android) is up-to-date. Look for the dedicated Wrapped feed prominently displayed at the top of your Home screen, or simply search for “2025 Wrapped.”

Inside the 2025 Wrapped Stories

This year, Spotify has retained the beloved classics while introducing nearly a dozen new stories and features designed to transform listening data into playful, shareable moments. The experience also now includes new controls, allowing users to adjust playback speed and revisit specific story moments without restarting.

The returning classics

Wrapped brings back the core insights fans look forward to:

  • Minutes Listened: The total time spent engaging with music, podcasts, and audiobooks.

  • Top Songs and Playlist: Your top five tracks of the year, accompanied by the Your Top Songs 2025 playlist, which now reveals the exact number of times you streamed each of your top 100 tracks.

  • Top Artists and Top Genres.

  • Top Podcasts: Your top five shows of the year.

  • Your Artist Clip: Special thank-you video messages from top artists, featuring stars like Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter.

What’s new for 2025

Spotify has significantly expanded the data analysis this year, introducing insights users have long requested:

New Wrapped Feature Insight Provided
Listening Age Compares your musical tastes (based on song release years) to others in your age group.
Top Albums For the first time, spotlights the albums you returned to repeatedly throughout the year.
Top Artist Sprint Visualizes how your top five artists shifted in your personal rankings month-by-month.
Fan Leaderboard Shows where you rank among your top artist’s listeners worldwide, based on total minutes listened.
Clubs Sorts your listening habits into one of six Clubs, each representing a unique, defined listening style and community.
Listening Archive An AI-powered feature that delivers up to five unique reports based on personalized snapshots of your most memorable streaming days (available in English in select markets).
Top Audiobook Genre Highlights your top audiobook genre and the book you streamed the most from it.

To celebrate the broader audio ecosystem, Spotify is including messages from other creators and introducing interactive quizzes:

  • Your Author Clip: Messages from writers like Dan Brown and James Patterson behind your favorite audiobooks.

  • Your Podcaster Clip: Messages from hosts of shows like The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett and The Mel Robbins Podcast.

  • Top Song Quiz: An interactive challenge where you guess which track was the true soundtrack to your year.

Beyond the personal: Wrapped Party and Global Hub

The sharing experience is central to Wrapped, and this year, Spotify is launching Wrapped Party. This new interactive feature allows users to enjoy their year in music live with friends and can be accessed at the end of the personalized experience or via the main Wrapped hub.

The Wrapped feed at the top of the Home screen is the user’s one-stop hub, allowing them to revisit their personalized stories, explore editor-curated “Best of” playlists, and find all special creator messages.

The celebration is also spilling into the real world, with around 50 pop-up experiences in key cities globally, highlighting artists such as Oasis in Manchester, JENNIE in Seoul, and Bad Bunny in Mexico City. Spotify also provides tailored Wrapped experiences for artists, authors, podcasters, and advertisers, offering them insights into their own audience’s listening habits.
