LG Electronics will unveil its new home robot, LG CLOiD, at CES 2026 in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2026. This introduction represents the company’s vision for a “Zero Labor Home” by automating household tasks.

LG CLOiD functions as a home assistant, designed to reduce daily chore burdens and manage household tasks efficiently. The robot aims to free customers from housework demands, aligning with LG’s long-term goal.

The robot features two articulated arms, each powered by motors providing seven degrees of freedom. Each hand has five individually actuated fingers, enabling precise and delicate task performance. A chipset in the robot’s head serves as its processing unit, complemented by a display, speaker, camera, and sensors for expressive communication, voice interaction, and navigation. LG’s Affectionate Intelligence technology powers CLOiD to sense its surroundings, interact naturally, and refine responses through interactions to offer personalized support for tasks.
