The company, founded in 2022, launched its initial product in 2023. ElevenLabs reached $100 million in ARR within 20 months, followed by $200 million in 10 months, and the current ARR in 5 months, Staniszewski said.
Fortune 500 companies and startups are adopting its voice agent technology. This technology leverages company data and knowledge bases for customer support and customer experience interactions. The company stated on X that enterprises have deployed its technology to manage over 50,000 calls monthly.
In January 2025, the startup raised $180 million in Series C funding, co-led by a16z and ICONIQ Growth, at a $3.3 billion valuation. ICONIQ and Sequoia, an earlier investor, later invested an additional $100 million to acquire employee shares, doubling the company’s valuation.
Beyond voice generation and voice agent models, ElevenLabs introduced music creation capabilities last year. The company also secured agreements with celebrities, including Michael Caine and Matthew McConaughey, to utilize their voices for AI-generated content.
