Samsung introduced the Music Studio 5 and Music Studio 7 home speakers at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, from January 4 to 9, alongside its annual soundbar updates. These Bluetooth- and Wi-Fi-enabled units feature minimalist designs that integrate with home decor.

The speakers differ from conventional models through their appearance and incorporated technologies aimed at delivering optimal sound quality. Samsung positions them to fit seamlessly into living spaces, such as bookshelves, without drawing attention away from surrounding elements.

The Music Studio 5 incorporates a four-inch woofer and two tweeters. Its sound profile receives optimization from AI Dynamic Bass Control, which adjusts audio output dynamically. The unit’s structure combines circular and square elements, creating a distinctive visual form. During demonstrations amid the noisy CES environment, it produced crisp and clear sound. Availability extends to multiple colors, allowing coordination with interior aesthetics. Controls occupy the top edge, including a one-touch button for Spotify access.

The Music Studio 7 offers greater capacity as a 3.1.1-channel speaker. It supports four-direction spatial audio, enabling sound projection in multiple orientations. High-resolution playback reaches up to 24-bit/96kHz, accommodating detailed audio sources. Integration occurs with turntable setups, expanding usage scenarios for vinyl enthusiasts. Bass performance exceeds that of the Music Studio 5, as observed in direct comparisons. Control buttons reside on the top surface, positioned toward the front for convenient operation.

Multiple units combine for expanded configurations. Up to four Music Studio speakers form a surround sound system suitable for living rooms. Samsung conducted a demonstration employing four Music Studio 7 units in a simulated home theater arrangement. This setup connected to a television and played clips that exhibited immersion through detailed directional audio elements.

Further scalability applies to audio-only arrangements, where up to ten Music Studio speakers link together. Such groupings enhance coverage and intensity without video components.

Samsung has not disclosed pricing for the Music Studio 5 or Music Studio 7. Release dates remain undetermined, with details expected closer to market availability.
