Mercedes-Benz will unveil the all-new electric GLC for the first time on U.S. soil at CES 2026 in Las Vegas at Dolby Live. The event represents a milestone for the brand’s best-selling model in America, paired with immersive audio demonstrations featuring native sound integrations and Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple CarPlay.
The GLC has served as one of Mercedes-Benz’s top-selling models in the U.S. market for decades. The electric version now complements the current bestseller, incorporating advanced technology and performance capabilities. Visitors at CES 2026 will encounter the vehicle at Dolby Live, where it occupies the central position amid audio presentations.
The electric GLC operates on the AI-powered MB.OS platform. An optional 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen stands as the largest continuous screen in any Mercedes-Benz model to date. This setup includes the latest seamless pillar-to-pillar design. Mercedes-Benz introduces an optional independently-certified vegan interior, marking the first such feature from any automaker worldwide.
Other elements encompass available intelligent air suspension. The fourth-generation MBUX infotainment system integrates AI from both Microsoft and Google, establishing it as the world’s first in-car system with this dual integration. An 800-volt charging system supports rapid charging processes. MB.DRIVE provides next-generation driver assistance technologies.
The electric GLC generates 483 horsepower. Its estimated range reaches up to 713 kilometers. Mercedes-Benz plans to introduce the electric GLC lineup expansion in the U.S. market during the second half of 2026.
At Dolby Live Theater, the showcase centers on the all-new electric GLC. Demonstrations cover music streaming via native integrations. Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple CarPlay appears in the presentation. This feature exists already in the all-new CLA and GLB models and extends to the electric GLC. Native audiobook streaming occurs in Dolby Atmos format. Enhanced Apple CarPlay functionality receives emphasis alongside these elements.
Mercedes-Benz presents enhanced video streaming in the all-new electric CLA at the Xperi Booth. DTS AutoStage Video, powered by TiVo, enables this capability. RIDEVU, developed by Sony Pictures Entertainment, delivers IMAX Enhanced content paired with DTS:X sound. These options broaden entertainment selections and provide users with increased choice and flexibility.
The all-new CLA integrates next-generation MB.DRIVE technology. This system relies on NVIDIA AI, full-stack AV software, and accelerated compute. Mercedes-Benz and NVIDIA collaborated on MB.DRIVE to optimize the driving assistance experience for customers. The company exhibits the all-new CLA at CES 2026.
NVIDIA acts as the global partner for Mercedes-Benz’s next-generation Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The partnership employs NVIDIA’s AI, full-stack DRIVE AV software, and NVIDIA DRIVE AGX accelerated compute platforms. These components support the development and deployment of advanced features.
MB.DRIVE ASSIST PRO combines driving assistance with navigation functions. Activation occurs at the press of a button, allowing the vehicle to guide the driver through city streets from the parking lot to the destination. The system operates at SAE Level 2 assistance. Mercedes-Benz’s cooperative steering approach permits steering adaptations at any time without requiring system deactivation. This design maintains continuous operation during navigation tasks.
