Samsung Electronics Co. has partnered with Google to integrate Google Photos into its TizenOS-powered televisions, addressing a previous absence of a native Google Photos application on connected TV platforms. The companies announced this collaboration ahead of CES 2026.

The integration will initially feature curated photo memories, organized by people, places, and moments, rather than offering access to an entire Google Photos library. These “Memories” are scheduled to launch in March 2026 and will remain exclusive to Samsung TVs for six months.

Later in 2026, the “Create with AI” feature, including Nano Banana, will become available on Google Photos for Samsung TVs. This feature will allow users to generate themed templates, and a Remix tool will enable style transformations for photos and videos directly on the television. Select AI templates will be exclusive to Samsung TVs.

Samsung and Google also plan to introduce personalized results to Google Photos on Samsung TVs in the second half of 2026. This functionality will present related photos as slideshows based on topics or memory content, such as “ocean,” “hiking,” or “Paris.”

Google Photos integration will debut on Samsung TVs launched in 2026 and will subsequently roll out to select existing TVs via a software update later the same year.
