OPPO Pad Air 5 debuts with massive 10,050 mAh battery and 2.8K display

The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra and is one of the first devices to ship with Android 16-based ColorOS 16.

OPPO introduced the Pad Air 5 tablet on December 25, 2025.

OPPO Pad Air 5 specs explained

The Pad Air 5 features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio, 2800 x 1980 resolution, and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display offers 600 nits typical brightness, 900 nits peak brightness, and 1 billion color support. It covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut in Vivid mode and 100% of the sRGB color gamut in Natural mode.

The device measures 266.01 x 192.77 x 6.83 mm. The Wi-Fi version weighs 597 grams, while the SIM-compatible model weighs 599 grams.

Powering the tablet is a MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra octa-core processor, capable of speeds up to 2.5 GHz. It supports LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage technologies. A 10,050 mAh battery, supporting 33W charging, powers the unit.

The Pad Air 5 ships with ColorOS 16.0. It includes 8-megapixel cameras on both the front and rear, capable of 1080p video recording. Connectivity and features include keyboard and pen support, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C port, and facial recognition.

The OPPO Pad Air 5 is available in multiple configurations:

  • 8GB+128GB: 1,899 Yuan ($270)
  • 8GB+256GB: 2,199 Yuan ($312)
  • 8GB+256GB (Soft Light): 2,399 Yuan ($340)
  • 12GB+256GB: 2,499 Yuan ($355)
  • 12GB+256GB (Soft Light): 2,699 Yuan ($383)
