A new leak from veteran tipster Evan Blass has exposed a Verizon certification for the upcoming Google Pixel 10a, shedding light on the device’s key hardware specifications. According to the listing, the budget-friendly handset will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ plastic AMOLED display capable of switching between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates, powered by a substantial 5,100mAh battery. The leak identifies the device under the codename “STA5″—short for “Stallion”—and markets it as the “only phone engineered by Google, bringing Google AI to you at great value”.
The camera configuration listed includes a 48MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture, paired with a 13MP ultrawide lens and a 13MP front-facing camera, both with f/2.2 apertures. Internally, the certification points to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage without memory card support. Notably, these specifications are identical to the existing Pixel 9a, leading to speculation that the Verizon data may either contain placeholder text or that Google is retaining the previous generation’s hardware for this iteration. Previous reports suggest the device will run on the Tensor G4 SoC and may feature an upgraded 2,000-nit display, though the certification only explicitly confirms LTE Cat 19 support.
