Apple rolled out Music Replay 2025 on Tuesday, a feature highlighting users’ top songs, artists, and albums for the year.
The 2025 iteration includes several new sections. The “Discovery” section showcases new artists users listened to, while “Loyalty” highlights artists consistently streamed each year. The “Comebacks” section features artists returning to a user’s listening rotation.
Users can view their total minutes listened on the streaming service, the number of artists they engaged with, their longest artist streak, and favorite genres. The Apple Music Replay dashboard is accessible through the Home tab.
Beyond the annual Replay, monthly highlights and yearly summaries from previous subscriptions are available. Users can also access their “Replay All Time” playlist, compiling their most played songs since joining the service.
Artists gain access to new metrics, including listenership growth and year-over-year performance summaries. Existing metrics such as total listeners, countries, cities, and minutes remain available.
Apple announced ROSÉ and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” as the top song of 2025 on Apple Music. Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “luther” ranked second, followed by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” in third. Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” secured fourth place, and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” was fifth.
Apple Music’s Replay launch follows YouTube’s 2025 Recaps and coincides with Amazon Music’s release of its yearly recaps. These year-end features precede Spotify’s equivalent offering.
